Students with Special Needs Services

A Student with special needs can receive disability allowance, which is divided into two categories: the first category includes students with severe disability, and the second category includes students with moderate disability.

 
Procedures for Payment of Disability Allowance:

  - New students check with the Special Needs Center in the Deanship of Student Affairs and fill out a special form to determine the category.

  - The completed application form is submitted to the Vocational Rehabilitation Center in the Ministry of Social Affairs in order to administer a medical examination for the student . Based on this, a suitable allowance is determined, the application is sent to the Center which submits it to the Deanship of Admissions and Registration for the allowance to be paid.

  - As for Al-Noor Institute students or integrated blind students, allowance checks are issued and then submitted  to the Deanship of Student Affairs - without the need to refer the application form to the Ministry of Social Affairs for determining the type of disability.

Location:
Allowances checks are distributed to the students by the Center of Special Needs.
Female students receive their checks from the accounting unit in the Center.
